The Milky Way Galaxy // Astronomy and planetary Science

Astronomy:-
Astronomy and planetary Science are the study of objects and phenomena that occur beyond the Earth's atmosphere. This includes the investigation of stars and their interaction with each other and the planetary systems.

Milky way:-:The milky way is the Galaxy that contains the whole solar system. A Galaxy is a collection of all stars and interstellar materials held together by gravity. The Galaxy of our sun lives in is called the milky way or the milky way galaxy, a large number of the spiral system consisting of several hundred billion stars, one of which is the Sun. It takes its name from the milky way, the irregular luminous band of stars and gas clouds that stretches across the sky as seen from Earth. However the Earth lies well within the milky way galaxy, sometime simply Called the Galaxy. Astronomers don't have as complete an understanding of it's nature as they do of some external star system. A thick layer of interstellar dust obscures much of the Galaxy from scrutiny by optical telescopes, and astronomers they can determine it's large scale structure only with the aid of radio and infrared telescopes, which can detect the forms of radiation that penetrate the obscuring matter.

Solar System:- the solar system is the gravitationally bound system of the sun and the objects that orbit it, either directly or indirectly. Of the objects that orbit the Sun direvdir, the largest are the eight planets, and with the remainder being smaller objects, such as the five dwarf planets and small solar system bodies.
